Yeah...and a bud told me this:
You view art in museums...so art=public
art=artist
people who right music are artists
so....
music=art
art=public
If no one understands....go jump on a trampoline, and I'll be dling a bunch of techno

1. You can view dead animals in museums too.
2. Museums sometimes charge entry fees.
3. Art != Arist. Non sequitur.
4. People who write music can be composers as well. Or lyricists. What is music?
5. The rest of it is flawed due to the antecedent being flawed.
Nice try though. Unfortunately, they tried that infront of a federal judge, and he didn't buy it.
(Some do, though...)

I wouldn't say that downloading music is stealing... It's resourceful. College students' way of making up for lack of income.

The general consensus is that pirating and downloading stuff illegally actually hurts the revenue of the companies' severely. However, how many of us would actually buy cds and dvds if downloading wasn not an option? I sure wouldn't. I think people are forgetting that the vast majority of people who download illegally would not spend money otherwise. So no harm done.

I buy very few movies, I simply rent them (why the hell would I want to watch it more than 5 times?). And I don't really have that much music, but I do buy it. But, honestly, I'm not going to sit here and whine about people who download illegally. If I thought it was unfair, I would DL too. And I would never dream of a record company going under
And, as said before, a person who downloads for free would never buy the thing in the first place anyway

I usually buy my music, I had bad experiences with filesharing programs madly slowing down my computer. Even when I decided to be a greedy person and disallow all sharing. Anyways, I like having the original medium, I dunno why.
Personally, I don't care about people downloading crap. Have fun, it's not like it has affected me.

*Gasp* Free music off the internet is illegal? And they said in the policy that the website was government approved. Approve my butt. Stupid parents, why did they show me that site...

It's a government conspiracy. They promote illegal activities to weed out those foolish enough to listen to them.
